Hurv KRK-15: Hurv! Tunes from Särna

Music of the border of Sweden and Norway. Särna, with master fiddlers like Spak Olof, has one of Swedens' most interesting fiddling styles, blue notes and intricate rythmics. Almost all of the tunes are also known in Norway. Anders Rosén plays solo violin on all tracks. Recorded in 1991, also available on compact disc, Hurv KRCD-15.

Music from the west parts of Sweden featuring Anders Rosén, violin, and Harald Pettersson, accordeon, swedish bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy. Swedish Folk Music Recording of the Year in 1991 according to Klas Gustafsson, critic at one of Swedens' biggest newspapers.
